This is a REVERSE GLASS PAINTING. Although far from being unique, this is an original an true reverse glass painting. The picture is painted back to front, using acrylic paint onto the reverse side of the glass. The result is a very vibrant picture and it is a difficult and time consuming task to master! Hence the fact you will very rarely come across an original.
This is quite a large and heavy painting as it was painted onto toughened glass
