The small fishing village of Flamborough is flanked to the north by the aptly named "North Landing" and to the south by "South landing". This simple pen and wash pictures North landing, a small sheltered cove and safe haven for the few remaining fishing cobles. Hidden away on the Yorkshire Heritage coast by steep chalk cliffs it is also the home to many seabirds ...and secret coastal caves. For the land lubbers...the cobles are the boats not stones on the beach!
